They Don't Serve Lion Food

I went out to breakfast today.  We went to a place called the 2400 Diner.  Peggy said it's her favourite place for breakfast.  She loves that it hasn't changed since it opened in 1955.

Peggy was very excited about blueberry pancakes.  I was a little disappointed she wouldn't share her bacon with me.

I met some new friends named Richard and Matt.  Richard offered to share his coffee with me.

After breakfast, we stopped by Carl's.  It's another of Peggy's favourite places, and she loves that it's the same as when it opened in 1947.  They still close for hunting season in the winter.  I got a little nervous when she said "hunting season."  I hope no one hunts lions around here.
Peggy said both of these places are "iconic."  I don't know that word, but I think it means "delicious."
